Rápida y sencilla encriptación / descifrado de cadenas en JAVA

Necesito manera rápida y simple cifrar / descifrar un "montón" de datos de la secuencia . Intenté jasypt pero se bloquea en mi teléfono Android . Tengo alrededor de 2000 registros (cadenas).

¿Hay alguna otra manera? No necesito seguridad extremadamente alta, tiene que ser rápido !

Para simplificar hice una clase para ser utilizado simplemente, lo agregué en la biblioteca del cifrado para utilizarlo que usted apenas hace como sigue:

Agregue la biblioteca gradle:

Y usarlo:

Si no desea agregar la biblioteca de cifrado puede simplemente copiar la siguiente clase en su proyecto. Si estás en un proyecto androide necesitas importar android Base64 en esta clase, si estás en un proyecto puro de Java necesitas agregar esta clase manualmente puedes conseguirla aquí

Si está utilizando Android, puede utilizar la clase android.util.Base64 .

Codificar:

Descodificar:

 passwd = new String( Base64.decode( passwd, Base64.DEFAULT ) );
