Cómo utilizar Google Place Check-Ins en android

Utilicé la API de Google Places para recuperar lugares en y alrededor de una ubicación en particular. Al analizar los archivos xml, obtengo los lugares necesarios y sus detalles. Necesito registrarme en un lugar en particular. No podía saber cómo solicitar a través del método POST de Http. Esta es la petición que tengo que hacer. Lugar _reference – la referencia que obtuve de solicitud de lugar. Api_key – mi clave api.

POST https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/place/check-in/xml?sensor=true_or_false&key=api_keyHTTP/1.1 Host: maps.googleapis.com <CheckInRequest> <reference>place_reference</reference> </CheckInRequest>

I Utilizar el mismo enlace pasar los datos con Json. Y obtengo resultado en esto. Aquí está el código que uso.
