Cómo autopublicarse la aplicación android

Hola, me estoy preguntando cuál es el proceso que tengo que seguir con el fin de auto-publicar una aplicación en mi sitio web. ¿Es sólo para poner el archivo .apk en el sitio web y proporcionar un enlace al usuario para navegar (desde el teléfono) a la aplicación e instalarla?

  1. ¿Necesitaría el usuario algún conocimiento adicional para poder instalar la aplicación?
  2. ¿Puede el usuario instalarlo con un solo clic?
  3. ¿Qué pasa con las actualizaciones, el usuario puede recibir una notificación cuando hay una nueva versión?
  4. ¿El usuario necesitaría unistall y volver a instalar la aplicación al actualizar a una versión más reciente?

  • Sin conocimientos adicionales, y pueden instalarse con un solo clic. Sin embargo, tienen que tener la instalación de "aplicaciones no comerciales" habilitada en los ajustes.
  • Las notificaciones de actualización sólo pueden funcionar si la programa en su aplicación. Solicitar algún tipo de bandera de su sitio o algo. Así que no hay apoyo básico para eso
  • No es necesario desinstalar ni reinstalar. Cuidado con su versionNumber sin embargo.
